something<br><br>that I could do regularly on a daily<br><br>basis I wanted to see how effective it<br><br>was so let's get straight to the point<br><br>have I improved my typing speed at all<br><br>the answer is absolutely it's gone<br><br>pretty well indeed before I started this<br><br>experiment just over two months ago my<br><br>average touch typing speed was a 114<br><br>words per minute every now and then I<br><br>would get up to like 125 words per<br><br>minute and very very very rarely 130 now<br><br>having done two months of practice my<br><br>average is 131 words per minute<br><br>and occasionally I can get up to 146 147<br><br>words per minute that's quite a big<br><br>increase so over two months I've managed<br><br>to increase my typing speed by 15% happy<br><br>days that is a damn good result this is<br><br>an especially good result given that was<br><br>already in the top few percent of typist<br><br>I was already pretty fast to begin with<br><br>so what can we conclude from this well<br><br>this is just another piece of evidence<br><br>to show and to prove that deliberate<br><br>practice really does work very<br><br>effectively how do you actually become a<br><br>faster type of what program did I follow<br><br>to make this happen firstly I'm going to<br><br>talk about a few technical lessons that<br><br>I learned over the last two months and<br><br>then I'm going to give you a very<br><br>practical action plan to you to follow<br><br>to improve your typing so point number<br><br>one and this is really important
